How to Choose a Great Home Biz!

 My spouse, Jody Maley, has been involved in a home based business for years (and made a significant income from it too).

Over the years, she kept telling me that I too, should have my own business.  We dabbled in a few, but competition for some were pretty strong; after all, vitamins and juice seem to be everywhere.

Here are some benefits to having your own home biz:

• You get a tax break when you do your income returns (I had no idea about this even tho Jody had been telling me for years, what a nice surprise to get back almost $2,500)
• This can be done in your spare time..no need to quit your day job...until your biz is secure
• When your doing something you are passionate about you are truly helping other people....it's great when someone has benefited from what you are promoting and tells you how your product helped them...
• The extra money can be saved to purchase something you normally wouldn't buy....a great vacation, unexpected repairs on a vehicle, new snow tires..ya get the pic!
• When you do Travel, make sure you talk to some people about your biz...or even travel to a workshop or seminar...and you can write off portions of it at tax time! mmmm get paid to travel??? 

Here are some tips when you are thinking of joining a biz:

• Make sure it is something that you truly love and are passionate about. For instance, I sell PrePaid Legal advice, something that I see the 'value' of everyone having (after all, at some point you need a will done, buy a house etc...)
• If it is something you love, it is sooooo Easy to share! When we bought our new house, we saved 25% of our legal fee's...on something we were gonna purchase anyways!

4. Animal products....we love our friends and will spend crazy money on them! shhhhh don't tell our dog Pepper

6. Ok...she lied she told me to add one more....and its a good one too....Things that make you more money!  RRSP's, MLM, how to save thousands on your mortgage etc...

And finally I would like to point out the time factor!  Ya know the saying "Rome wasn't built in a day?", well it wasn't, and its still standing hundreds of years later!
Don't beat yourself up if you choose something that didn't make u a millionaire the next day, just know that if you keep plugging away...you will eventually see results!

What is BlastOff? & Why is it popular?

Some of you I'm sure having been getting invites to Blastoff. Well, I thought I'd just take a few min's and explain what Blastoff is and why I think it's cool to join!

Blastoff is a group of companies that have all come together to give you some great discounts by shopping online...my spouse Jody loves the Starbucks Savings card..and thought it would be a great stocking stuffer for our older kids for Christmas; plus, she was thrilled to receive money back...for christmas shopping..shhhh don't tell the older ones!

I have just started to buy some domains too...and was pleasantly surprised to get paid to do that through GoDaddy...I bought 7 new domains...and I got paid almost $12 to do this.

Identity Theft

Ok to be honest, I didn't know quite what to think when I first heard about "Identity Theft" and how it related to me!

Since a really good friend had 'recommended' that I watch the video about Identity Theft I did so and my eyes were opened.

The BBB (Better Business Bureau) is having a hard time keeping up with this huge trend of theft. You have probably seen the commercials on TV about people having their identities stolen, some of them contain a humorous content, but this is definitely no laughing matter.

What most people don't realize is that if your "identity" gets violated it can tarnish lots more than just your 'new bills', it can leave a huge "footprint" of negativity about YOU.

Let me explain just a little more....having someone 'steal your identity' also means that they mess up your credit. Even though most credit card companies will 'reimburse' the purchases made, your credit score will also plummet.

This can take years to get your credit score back up.

So I highly recommend that you check out the video Right HERE and get the full scoop of what "Identity Theft" is and how you can protect yourself. Like I said, I'm not a salesperson, but I do care about people and their families. Hi & welcome to my blog.

My name is Christian Lebel and I live in Beautiful BC Canada.

A few months ago our BC economy took a dive in the Logging industry.

What a crazy time.

Mills have been going part-time, part shifts and in some instances closing down all together.

Just to let you know, I have no computer experience...so I'm not here to tell you I'm an expert...Far from it actually, but I wasn't going to let my personal situation change my lifestyle.

Last year I was introduced to a product by a good friend....called Pre-paidLegal.
